Day 4 - Shipwreck Museum

Another beautiful day.  We started by going on a 2 mile hike here at the state park:

We found interesting this kayak launch.  Nice way to get your kayak down to the water!

Lunch at camper, then drove about 30 minutes to the shipwreck museum at Whitefish point.

I should also mention I only found one gas station with diesel in this remote portion of the UP.  $5.20 per gallon, yikes!

Spent about 3 hours at the museum.  Learned a lot about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.  And many prior wrecks too.  Nice setting for museum at this lighthouse point:

Back to trailer for late naps.  Then happy hour and Diane cooked - best meal of the trip so far!  Canadian walleye, her stick 'o butter rice, and roasted asparagus:
